Timing is Everything for Team Building

As part of my ongoing series of interviews with authors, inventors, executives, and other worthy people, I had the pleasure of getting to know Jane Lovas, a business advisor who has also authored a book, Seen and Sustained: Best Practices in Communication that Increase the Visibility of Small and Diverse Businesses.
One of Jane’s many strengths is advising executives on ways they can make their own company projects achieve the highest level of effectiveness. Her advice is derived from many years of managing projects in chaos – when they should not have been in chaos. She brings a fabulous perspective on team building – what makes it work and what doesn’t.
In my short interview with Jane, she describes her experience working with project teams who took advantage of a rather large team building activity that could have worked much better for the individuals, teams, team leader and whole project if it had been timed better. No need to fill up your coffee cup and get more comfortable; our interview is efficient at less than 5 minutes.
This is a great example of how Timing is Everything for Team Building!
