Darcie Davis and Business
For decades, Darcie has guided teams to be well bonded and energized. Her strength is in understanding each team’s goal to align an appropriate activity that will help the team function more effectively whether it relates to client service, business development or operations. The teams get tweaked while the team members learn more about their differences and how to work better because of them. Results are sustainable.
Management and Marketing Experience
Darcie has held leadership and upper management positions with organizations experiencing dramatic change: Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman; Davis, Kingsley & Company; Deloitte & Touche; WilTel and two architectural firms. She learned firsthand the significance of incorporating creative, right-brain activities into busy workloads to keep up morale and productivity for executives, teams and everyone in between.
As a supervisor and, since 1999 as a consultant, she has a steady track record of creating games to solve problems, generate new business, engage customers and build teams. Darcie has incorporated games, icebreakers and many inspired teambuilding activities for meetings, retreats and conferences. She’s earned a reputation for finding imaginative, non-traditional solutions when people get stuck.
Customer and Employee Satisfaction and Loyalty
Over the expanse of her business life, Darcie has conducted thousands of interviews to collect and analyze the specific issues why customers and employees join, stay or leave a company. She then provides recommendations for practical improvements to many areas of a client’s business. Areas addressed most often include:
• Corporate Culture/Environment
• Relationship Building with Customers
• Sales/Business Development
• Customer Service
• Customer Satisfaction and Retention
• Employee Morale and Retention
Her services have been requested by strategic buyers – predominantly large government contractors – who asked for her guidance and participation on due diligence teams as well as on the integration processes needed after a merger or acquisition. From that experience, Darcie witnessed personal and corporate stress that often de-railed important M&A goals. The companies who let her uncover those issues that could ruin the success of the deal, rallied through the deal with less fallout.
Darcie has served small, middle and big size companies in a variety of industries.
